minimike Posted October 7, 2023 Report Share Posted October 7, 2023 (edited) I saw an image this week somewhere on the internet of a BAR that had a mount where the rear sight goes. Picture wasn’t detailed enough to make out the mount. OOW’s HCAR picatinny mount probably fits the A1918 and M1918a3. Griffen and Howe make a side mount for a flat sided receiver. I would imagine that if the Army had wanted to scope the BAR, they would have started with the guys that were making the M1C mounts.
