I found some decent mags at a decent price. Not an easy task these days.

I recently bought 12 of these mags, they were pretty nice.   If you consider that they are almost 80 years old and used, they're excellent.

The ones I got were not as nice as the one in the photos, for the most part, but they weren't too far off, either.

They were caked with cosmoline, which I dealt with by stacking them in a pile on my workshop floor and heating them with an old hair dryer.  The hairdryer method works great, you can heat any metal part you like to about 120 degrees (give or take) in a few minutes by directing the flow from a hairdryer over it.   Then just wipe the cosmo away with a shop rag.

Note - I have nothing to do with northridge, I am an engineer from Pennsylvania.  I figured some of you guys might be interested.
