Larryp44
Does anybody know a good gunsmith that works on the MK760? Took mine to the range today and only got 1 round to fire. The trigger just kept clicking… it did it when I dry fired it to check it. Had to pull the trigger a couple of times before the hammer would fall. Has anyone experienced this before? Got Uzi
Check to see how tight your striker is inside the bolt body? I had a semi auto Thompson that was that way-pull the trigger 2 or three times before it would go off. I’d start there. Another thing to look for is the clearance of when the striker drops off the sear. Could be hanging up there too. The clicking you hear is your semi auto sear. Larryp44
Well, I checked it. The recoil spring guide rod was bent some… straightened that out, goes back together really easy now. It’s taking 2 pulls of the trigger to fire… I’m getting closer… sometimes it fires with one pull of the trigger…. Got Uzi
I’d say there is still something that is binding the striker and not letting it freely move when the sear is dropped. That or the sear isn’t dropping far enough to allow the striker to move as needed.
