Wtb: Bipod

Recommended Posts

Hi Hawkeye,

I was facing the same problem a few months back. Sarco is the only parts house that claimed they had the early bipods, but the quality of their parts leaves a lot to be desired. I picked up a very nice early bipod(wingnuts on the bottom) off ebay. And OOW is the only place I could find that has repro 1918 wood. Numrich listed some 1918 wood, but I returned the wood they sent me. The forearm was G.I. 1918A2 and the buttstock was made for a pistol-grip style trigger group like on the later Colt Commercial BARs.

Happy New Year!

Carey
