jimmie58
I'm new here to the board and thought maybe I could get some insight on a drum I own. It has no markings on it except for the Thompson Logo on the key side (cover) of the drum and on the very lower edge of that key side is stamped "RGH1". The only other thing that may help is that it came in a shipping box marked with an "Auto Ordenance, West Hurley, New York 12491" shipping label, the shipping address cut out. The UPS label indicates it was shipped on April 21, 1988 and the back of the box is printed "373-20 Drum Holder". I contacted Kahr and they believe it was made by Iona Machine of New Windsor NY which was apparently making parts for AO from 1971 (?) until they went out of business in 2000. I talked to someone in West Hurleyand they claim they never made or had made such a drum with no manufacturers marking or serial #. Anybody have any insight on this one, it would be appreciated. Thanks, Jimmie
