whiterook1942 Posted January 14, 2007 Report Share Posted January 14, 2007 I might be getting a semi-auto p version for wwii reenacting and want to make it look closer to the original here is a few of my questions. 1. where can i get a ejector housing m3a1 somehow i want to try and install as side covers just for apppearance 2. what is the spring like metal band under the barrel nut & riveted to the mag well for ? where can i get one 3. how long is an original barrel end to end and will they fit on a semi-auto V.A. nut ? 4. when was the flash hider first used in combat Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Blanksguy Posted January 23, 2007 Report Share Posted January 23, 2007 To fire .45 ACP SMG Blanks through your M3 or M3A1 GreaseGun....all that you need is a spare-barrel-assembly drilled/taped at the muzzle for 1/2x20TPI allen-set-screws. For using my Blanks you would drill these allen-set-screws to .185" (#13 Drill-Size) BFA Hole-Size/Restriction. Works great. Regards, RichardS.
