Oldtrooper
Facebook unpublished our business page today giving the reason that our product goes against community standards ... Custom rifles and gunsmithing ... It kind of hacks you off when you paid for it and you get done away with without even a chance to speak for yourself. Oldtrooper
There are A LOT of companies with similar lines of business on FB.Was there something specific they found objectionable? No idea .. That was all the explanation given ... We build custom bolt action and target rifles and do restoration and repair ... Obviously our page offended someone ... Kind of like a red flag business law. That said FB is a private business and can do whatever they want to do.
mattnh
FWIW, my best guess is they thought you did something against the list on this page:https://www.facebook.com/communitystandards/regulated_goods/ Perhaps didn't show a brick-and-mortar store or solicited sales.Dunno, that list looks like a mine field to me. If you want to play in their sandbox, you have to play by their liberal political correct rules...

No private sales were done on line with FB ... Screw 'em.

ppgcowboy
If a person is forced to bake a cake, fb should fined for violating your rights, and forced to allow your business presence.
