  1. Yep - they are loads of fun... For some reason, the M203 doesn't really compare...
  2. Sponge rounds are no joke - you would def not want to get hit by one even at a distance... The damage I've seen them do to a chain-link fence at ~100ft is beyond what you could do with a metal baseball bat..
  3. Glad you liked it - I thought he did better than his typical entertainment-only oriented videos...
  4. Good video Pretty good overview - def worth a watch!
  5. Congrats on the accelerated timeline & that things worked out for you.
  6. Yep, pretty much zero tolerance for <<any>> paperwork/4473 mistakes.
  7. Pretty much any open bolt gun can fire when the bolt is jammed on the mag (not locked all the way back) and the mag is dropped.... There are even some open bolt guns that often leave an extra live round chambered when the "last round" has fired (AM180). You have to be extremely careful with guns that fire from an open bolt as they WILL fire without the trigger being pulled. This is especially true for new shooters that only have experience with closed bolt guns (99% of all people); close supervision is mandatory.
  8. LOL, yeah, those zinc pushers are no joke... The more surprising one to me he is how hard the super light plastic/foam baton rounds hit even at relatively long distances. After seeing what one of those foam rounds did to a chain-link fence at ~50yrds, I'd prob. rather be hit with a baseball bat than one of those...
  9. IMHO, that board is pretty slow. LOL, no serious secrets... Occasionally, some very good/detailed posts.
  10. They are reopened periodically for a very short time. Post a query about it on ar15.com in the Armory / NFA - DD section.
  11. Currently, you are looking at about 10-12K in parts for a standard config (also adding an e3/e4/e6 kit would add ~6-10K more). Many of the standard config parts are fairly easy to source, others are not so easy... Assuming you had all of the parts, figure 1K-2K for somebody competent to build it (mostly depends if you are starting with a complete back-half or not). I can suggest a few competent 07/02 guys who do M60 posties if you need suggestions. I assume they could give you a firm price (if they are willing to do the work for you).
