Strange Lower for Sale With Folding Stock- $900

I dont know if this is just an oddity but when i saw it, I just had to have it!! A year Later

and it sits on top of my gun safes. I think its cool. I paid $900 and thats what i will sell it for

If no takers, i can toss it on Gunbroker. Figured more Thompson guys here

 

 

 

 

$900 for a full auto? What's the catch? am I missing something?

What you are missing it that the upper half is the registered part

generally M1a1 complete lowers sell on Gunbroker for $900 to 1200 and they are

not an FFL or NFA item

The lower isn't classified as anything. The classification comes from the configuration and operation of what you put it on

1. I received payment all i have left is the folding part

2. Its not NFA , its not a pistol

its the lower half of a thompson and its just parts

If you assemble it into a semi upper and convert to FA, then its a felony unless you are a 07 and filed a Form2
