While I don't own a 60 year old Thompson (yet), I have gone back and forth over enough stuff like that to make me wonder. I finally figured out once I got the "perfect" MaA1, I'd probably get interested in old six shooters, or worse, something easy to find NOS but without historical significance, like old knitting needles (yeah rrrright!)
