kyle
I'm pretty sure we discussed this previously. A grey issue that the ATF has now "clarified". http://www.sturmgewehr.com/webBBS/semiforu....cgi?read=68127
Jay Baker
While no one should be surprised at that ruling, I can't help but think what if such replacement was allowed. Why, my OLY RR would have been worth more that a Colt. BATF couldn't let that happen. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif
John Jr
This needs to be challenged by all the major gun makers in the country. Replacing adds nothing to the registry. Those idiots don't even know if one has been redone, they dont take pictures and metal samples from every gun that is registered. A man could blow up his Browning machine gun and get a new sideplate, put the old number on it and the Batfe asshats would be none the wiser. Moronic fools will not stop people from doing this. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
