railroader
Does anyone have any experience with the modern recoil buffers, and does the Thompson community consider them to be reliable replacements for the originals. Thanks, Railroader
Chopper28
The new ones are mcuh better. Made from better material that was not available when they were originally designed. PK sells them on this board. Well worth it in MHO.
full auto 45
I sale them. I also have used one in my '28 for over a year now. It's held up much better then the fiber ones that came in the gun. I've put over 5000 rounds down range since the buffer went in and it's just fine. If you want one, email me, $5 plus shipping. I have plenty. Buffers page http://mikesmachineguns.com/sales/buffer_disk_2.JPG
