  1. Yep, same here. Have shot thousands or rounds of these and never had a failure. Federal Eagle (Red box) failed and almost damaged the Dillinger gun several years ago. I only fire it in a 45 1911.
  2. Talked to the buyer this morning. He is going to try and talk to our local Representative or write his congressman. Who knows. Anyway, 587A is back on the market.
  3. FBI doesn't talk to anyone. We cancelled the sale, after 1.5 years, so, my 1928 Thompson is back up for sale. Hell, I think I'll sell them both.
  4. I put it on here since I was trying to sell my 28 Thompson. David will move it if he feels to. I was hoping my fellow Thompson guys could help!
  5. And of course, no one can get an answer from said 3 letter organization.
  6. Yeah, I've got another one with all metal and a Brit conversion non crossbolt as well.
  7. Came from a long gone parts kit. Not sure what these are worth now. Has the non cross-bolt stock, slide, butt plate, felt for the oiler, M stamped horizontal forearm, pistol grip, milled swivels. No screw for the forearm or grip. Good condition considering the age. Going through the boxes to move stuff out.
  8. It is for sale. I will be posting other Thompson items later this week or weekend. If interested in the B&O gun, pm me please.
  9. My error, I should have said, I believe they were originally British used. I have one somewhere, not in that good of shape, well used. Haven't seen it for a while. I'll try to find it and see if it has U.S. markings. I got mine from the British guy that had all Thompson parts at the big shows. He passed away a few years ago.
  10. Richard is correct. M1/M1A1 Thompson breech cover, I believe this is a British item.
  11. I think the time has come to part ways. I am thinking of selling my M1. This piece has a history with TWO police departments, one being the B&O Railroad Police. This is a tough decision, and no Askew, it's not going to be cheap. Brad Freeman Buck Compton Earl McClung
  12. I sold my West Hurley 1928 on April 2, 2023. Still waiting for approval! I talked to them (BATFE) last week, they told they are still waiting on the FBI background check. They received the paperwork on April 5, 2023. Even the agent I talked to said, "Wow, that has been a while." In the mean-time, I bought a suppressor and it was in my hands 6 months to the day I sent it in.
  13. Would be worth flying to Reno to inspect it and see paperwork at that price. Does it look funny behind the ejector or just worn bad. Reweld?
  14. Yep, looks like going prices for all the items. The case may be a little low.
  15. And now I have two employee badges. Only wish I could find names to go with them. 801 is the new one. One has red text and one has black. Could be a production worker and a company office? Who knows.
  16. Colt Chopper and I, along with some straggler called TD will be there Thursday morning, bright and early. Maybe a Friday fan club meeting at noon outside the SAR building?
  17. Wonder if Morphy's will have any or all of the Thompson's at the SAR show next weekend?
  18. My Suppressor paperwork came back to the dealer on Friday. 7 months not bad.
  19. Greg, I am still interested in a 1907 case. If you need one of my rifles, let me know and you can stop by and get one if you're in the hood.
