On another note does anybody have any new news on Douglas Richardson I know he has gone through some hard times as of late. I would like to build a 1921 non functioning replica using as many of Doug's parts I can get. Looking forward to hearing from you all! anjong-ni
Hi there. If you haven't got it yet, print out D.R.'s catalog. It's informative reading. Then watch the auction sites. His books and parts come up once in awhile. Good luck....Phil http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/MGBoards/RichardsonCatalog72A.pdf

Ron Mills
Duke,How much do you want to spend ("ball park" figure) on your 1921 replica? There a more than a few options. Here's a link to 80% completed receivers for Model 1921: http://philaord.com/80-machined-receivers/m1921-m1928-m1928a1-m1-m1a1/ Reputable builder if you don't know about him already. If you can't find Doug Richardson parts, etc, PhilaOrd is a great source. You can sink as much money as you want to into your project depending on factors like G. Fox cases et al, parts, furniture, Cutts or not, etc. Regardless, you are in the right place here for all for references. It's your build. Doug R.is indeed a legend. I recall seeing an ad he placed years ago (maybe in Shotgun News?) wanting (to buy) Thompson 50 round drums "for destructive engineering purposes". Always thinking. So, let us know. We can help.Ron Edited October 1, 2019 by Ron Mills
CaribRadDoc
Duke, You may want to pm JoJeep, he had listed both Doug Richardson '28 and M1 receivers and parts for sale a little while ago. I know he had listed them on GB. I just checked and couldn't find them. But, that could be use error only part. Here is the listing he had. http://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23629&p=209779 Enjoy the search, or so they say!!
