shadycon
Hi and welcome; You can go to the Auto Ordanance/Kahr website and down load complete instruction manual. You should get it. GK
exidor09
I have all that it came with the gun, I was hoping for a video.
Merry Ploughboy
AGI has a DVD that is pretty thorough. The DVD covers the semi as well as full auto Thompsons. New is sort of pricy, so look for a used one. There may be stuff on Youtube but most of what I ever seen there is just people shooting. Good luck, and enjoy your Thompson! exidor09
Have you seen this video do you know if they show how to oil it
StooperZero
break down the gun, spray rem-oil in the top and grip frame section, put back together and you're done. nothing spectacular about it. most of the time anymore i just lock the bolt back and spray it in that way briefly. OCM
You can watch a Youtube video of field stripping a 28 Thompson and follow the same basically instructions, along with your paper manual. Then oil it with a shaker of Rem Oil or my preference Clenzoil if you can find that anymore. If you get in trouble, you can always come back here, but I'm sure you'll be OK. exidor09
Well my main concern is im having jamming issues, I am uncertain if it's user error or a problem with the gun.
Enforcer
How is the Thompson jamming? failure to feed? failure to extract? stove pipe?If the Thompson is jamming, I would first change the magazine and clean the chamber, use a good 45 caliber bronze brush and make sure the chamber is clean. Lubricate as outlined in the posts above. If the problem persists post some pictures and a description of the problem, someone should be able to help. exidor09
So I finally got to take my gun out to the range after I got it back from kahr. It had 1 round jam out of 50. Much better result however I still. Had one round that the pin blew out the primer.
exidor09
See the round with the red circle. It's punched clear thru. Is this still a problem.

exidor09
My question is why isn't it consistent thru out the rounds. Why one round different than the rest
