I recently did some research to determine what the competing, single shot .22's were of the late 1800's to mid 1920's, and the H&R Handygun version was not on my radar. That may be for good reason, since production was so limited, and it was probably at the very tail end of the time range I researched, but I'm still surprised to learn about this variation which was previously unknown to me.
