bmarvin
How many different styles of Peter's shot shell boxes are there? I have three variations. Are there more? http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n223/laurablaire/43810010Small.jpg

dalbert
All, This subject has been suggested in the past as being a candidate for a pinned post. I think a pinned post with photos of the different ammo boxes associated with the Thompson would be a good addition, and would give many the chance to display some of their collection online. What do you think? David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com

dalbert
bmarvin, What I'd like to do is have pictures submitted of each box top, taken from directly above the box, or a scanned image of the box top. If the sides or bottom of the box have any unique features, they could also be included. I'd like to start a library with the images standardized for easy reference by all on the Thompson board. dalbert
bmarvin, I like the Stembridge blanks box. I have seen a couple of them that were different than yours, but I don't recall seeing another box like the stembridge box in your collection. Thanks! dalbert
I'll take some better shots over the weekend. Do you want them posted in this thread or emailed to you? Brian Brian, You can e-mail them to me. Here are some examples of what I'd prefer, but I won't rule anything out if it's the only image available. (The pictures below are scans.) I have the first Kleanbore box, and the Western box in my collection like you included above, so if you want to send the others, that would be great. http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/MGBoards/Ammo/USCO_Web.JPG http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/MGBoards/Ammo/RemUMC_Web.JPG Thanks! ron_brock
Great idea David. I'll get a pic of the Brazilian ammo to add. - Ron
dalbert
Great idea David. I'll get a pic of the Brazilian ammo to add. - Ron Ron, Very nice. I was going to ask you if I could include that ammo. I thought it was the coolest new thing I saw at the TATA Show and Shoot 2 weeks ago at Tracie's. I've already posted the pinned post, and am updating it currently with my items, and I welcome any other input. Thanks!
