  1. What type of bayonets came with the M-97 trench shotgun? Thanks, Brent.
  2. I sent my WH M1 Thompson to PK (for alot of repairs) & he told me that my bolt was alittle to long & was banging into the chamber. It was a WH M1A1 bolt. He repaired the chamber & I now have a Savage M1 bolt in the gun & it works GREAT! Thanks PK for what you did for my Thompson SMG years ago. Brent
  3. I bought a NIB Colt AR-15 model 613 (select fire) for $500.00 in 1977 from the Shotgun News. I thought that the $200.00 transfer tax was redicuous for a $500.00 gun! I sold the gun 5 years later. I bought a 1964 1/2 mustang in 1980 for $750.00 & a hunting rife & a .22 pistol. I've had alot of people tell me that they had a mustang like that years ago. They all told me that it was the best car they ever had & wished that they had not sold it. I was thinking about that $500.00 gun I had sold when I decided I didn't want to be one of those people that wished that they still had there mustang. I still have that car today even thou I don't have that $500.00 gun. I did learn something about this & did not want to repeat my mistake on selling my car like I did with the gun. I did redeem myself in 2003 thou & bought a NIB West Hurley Thompson smg for $6900.00. I sent it to PK & had him work his magic on it. FUN GUN!
  4. Diamond K Remastered Auto Ordance West Hurley Thompson Submachine Gun: Model of M1 since April 2003. Still going strong! Brent
  5. My user name of "must" came from the 3 classic mustangs I own & drive (64 1/2 & 2-66 models). I've owned 2 of them for over 20 years. They also transport my Thompson up to the local gun range.
  6. PK cut up the W.H. bolt so that it would not ever get into another Thompson again (good idea). Brent
  7. I own a later production WH FA M1 Thompson & it came with a WH bolt. PK told me that the bolt was too long & was ramming into the chamber. He repaired the chamber & a Savage M1 bolt is now in use with no problems. Brent
  8. Pk worked on my W.H. M1 last March 2003 & I haven't had any problems with it. I had "LOT" of problems before he went thru the gun & correct all the problems. It is in G.I. specs now & is well worth it! Brent
  9. I wouldn't worry about it if you have a registered M2 carbine (preferable a registered receiver gun). Brent
  10. If you change your mind about wanting a M2 in Nevada, I've got one for sale in Utah. Brent
  11. I have two Vector NIB Uzis that are consectivetly serial numbered (if you want both of them). Price includes one 25 rd. new magazine. Does not include transfer tax & shipping. These are both fully transferable. Looking to buy a U.S. Inland M1 carbine in really nice condition (non import). Also looking to buy a Sig P220 in .45acp. I would like it to be new or like new & would like the threaded barrel version. Thanks, Brent
  12. I have a C&R AR-18 in like new condition. It was made in Costa Mesa. It comes with a Armalite scope & 3 factory magazines (one-20 rd. & two-30 rds.). I would like $9000 or a M1A1 carbine (orignal or reproduction) + cash. I will consider all offers. Gun is on form 4. I should have pictures for it next week. Brent
  13. Mike, There is a good history on the M2 Carbine in the back issues of Smallarmsreview.com magazines. Issue: Nov. 1997 & Dec. 1997. Lots of info. Brent
  14. You ought to get the book: U.S. M1 Carbines, Wartime Production by Craig Riesch. Any unmark magazines, made in U.S.A., or marked M2 I think are after market ones. Any mag. marked KI, AI, IA, Sey are definitely G.I. There is also a early version that is called a "seamless or hardback" magazine as well. There is one marked J that I think is late production G.I. My M2 is fun to shoot but I like my Thompson better. My 2 cents. Brent
