  1. I think Starline is where PhilOrd gets the brass for their blanks. I doubt they'd sell the correct brass to anyone other than PhilOrd though.
  2. Yea I just remember helping a friend make blanks for his STG44. Was quick and simple once you got it all set up. We also made .45acp blanks back then out of 30.06 cases. But then again blanks back then were .10 cents a round and were very affordable. If making my own blanks would get me down to 25 cents a round I'd consider it worthwhile.
  3. Has anyone tried making their own blanks? Would be nice to be able to make our own. All I can think is $15 a mag when I pull the trigger.
  4. Deerslayer did mine as well along with a bunch of other mods at the same time. My SBR engraving was also done in the same place along with all the other engraving done to the rifle (military acceptance markings as well as FA markings)
  5. I put my name on the list about a month or so ago. Has anyone been able to make their own blanks for these? I hate paying .50 cents each for LIVE rounds much less something that is just a toy.
  6. Just so you know the 5 cell pouches are meant for the 20 round magazines. The three cell pouches are for the 30 round magazines. You can occasionally find some modified 5 cell pouches where the flaps were lengthened to accept the 30 rounders. I found 2 like that on ebay where someone at some point used British webgear to lengthen the flaps. I also picked up a full USGI wood set on ebay for under $100. The mag catch mod is great. I actually had my M1 laser engraved with USGI markings when I got it done for the SBR markings. I also had the selector switch added along with a FA pivot plate to make the look complete. http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/kalski/The%20gun%20rack/001_zpsge7tkszh.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/kalski/The%20gun%20rack/003_zpsjdb8mlmd.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/kalski/The%20gun%20rack/IMG_0400_zpsylbjcydk.jpg http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j254/kalski/The%20gun%20rack/IMG_0402_zpshaqbveen.jpg
  7. Do you have any pictures of the two bolts side by side? I ask becasue I have a 2007 Kahr M1 that I have not put more than 2-300 rounds through since I bought it. But I plan on shooting it much more now that it is SBR'd.
  8. I bought the a whole set for the M1 on e-bay for $105 shipped. Was old and covered in cosmoline and fit perfectly after the front gripmount was changed. The colors do not match but I no longer fear dinging up the pretty stock from Kahr.
