  2. The guy purchasing the gun is a class III dealer (Ruben Mendola)

  4. I've got a new sig 550 green furniture and I'm trying to get an idea of value. What's the going rate for one?

  6. Whatever is going on with the finish on this receiver also happened to the 1928 A1 lend lease at Rock Island auction last September. It looks like the bluing held up much better on the lower, sights, and barrel but not the receiver on both guns?
  7. This gun shows lots of similarities to the NAC 1928 A1 at Rock Island last September: http://www.rockislandauction.com/viewitem/aid/65/lid/1609 The receiver and trigger frame color don't match. The knob is not curled. Fire control levers not correct. Stock is not correct for a British lend lease. just seems awfully coincidental that the exact same issueare present on both guns? Makes me think NAC was doing some type of standard parts change out or upgrade and both guns where imported back to USA in same batch. Also have to be a little concerned lowers were changed out and renumbered to match receiver.
  8. Bill, just ordered. Would you please sign. Thx........................................Scott
  9. I'm looking for original Colt C drum. A matching if possible. What do you guys think the price range should be from poor condition, average , and excellent top end? Any dealers who handle these that are trustworthy?
  10. with this dealer? I'm looking at a couple of guns he has on his web site.
  11. John Norrell in Little Rock, Ark. is a great guy. He recently went thru my trigger pack. I had broken a hammer spring. Also had him make a spare antibounce bolt and plunger. The registered NFA part on the Ruger 10/22 is the S&H sear. I think around 2000-2500 were done by Curtis Higgins from Oklahoma. Most were purchased by John and used in his trigger pack design but some sears were purchase by other gunsmiths whose conversions closely copied Norrell's design on the trigger pack. The good news is the sear is the NFA part and not the trigger pack. So, if trigger pack wears out ,spring breaks etc, John can rebuild or make from scratch. The sear is not likely to "wear out". The NFA form should read the legal part as " S&H Sear". So, I wouldn't let some wear on the trigger pack worry me at all as long as it's the S&H sear conversion.
