Botach is horrible. Worst customer service ever. Their bad reputation is well known. I purchased an item from them beginning of Aug. They charged my card that day and still have not shipped it two months later. There is no phone number where you can talk to a person. Leave a message and no one calls you back. I have emailed, texted, facebooked, and called. No one responds. I think it's pretty much theft after two months.

I sent you a PM. Just seeing if I can help.

These are the newest edition Colt mags. Sometimes they are in stock here at Aim. They were in stock a couple weeks ago. https://aimsurplus.com/usgi-colt-223-5-56-30rd-ar-m16-magazines/ The Magpul pmags issued to the Marines so you could call them govt issue.

What happens to my Dealer Samples when I die?
Gaffshot replied to brucea4's topic in Class III Forum
Every state is different. I can only speak for KY as I'm a lawyer here. In KY, if you have a specific bequest that is unlawful the bequest would become void. The asset then becomes part of your residuary estate. If your will give them to another SOT then they could probably transfer on a Form 5, tax free. If not willed to an SOT then the bequest would be an illegal instruction and then void. They would then become part of your residuary estate. Your executor would then take possession of the items and then they would be sold and transferred to another SOT, or given to the SOT who your will instructed. The executor fills out the application to transfer with the estate as the transferor. Executor signs for you and attached copy of court order appointing them as the personal representative of the estate. Once application to transfer is approved then possession is given to the new SOT. This assumes your FFL/SOT is in your personal name. If it is a corp or LLC then it's a matter of who, if anyone, continues on the business. It may be best to not will a sample to someone not allowed to have it. That would just make it complicated. If it's not specifically mentioned in the will then it's just part of the residuary estate as listed above. This is how it works for transferables. I have no experience with estates with samples but I think it would be the same. -
Thinking of sending them a couple to them to liquidate.

Semi Mags
Gaffshot replied to Gaffshot's topic in Thompson Semi-Auto Discussion Forum (West Hurley & Kahr Semis)
These are 30 round mags. I have three. Anybody want to buy them from me? What do they go for? Is deerslayer Dan Block? What's the charge to weld these up? -
I picked up 3 really good looking Seymore mags at a local show for use with my full auto M1. They don't work in it. Looks like the mag catch hole in the rear of the mag has been altered a bit so the mags are not going in far enough to allow the bolt to strip the round. Have these mags been altered for use with the semi autos? What do these sell for around here?

Tax Stamp Question?
Gaffshot replied to tray burge's topic in Thompson Semi-Auto Discussion Forum (West Hurley & Kahr Semis)
I don't know if you're required to but I would. There's an article in the SAR magazine from 2014 or 2015 on this question. I'll try to find it. -
Why does becoming an FFL prohibit you from selling it? Another thought: If your FFL is in an LLC or some corporate structure and you personally owned the ammo prior to incorporation then it belongs to you individually and not the the LLC (or whatever corporate structure you have) and that solves your problem. Next option: get your SOT and buy a cheap dealer sample AK74. Have fun disposing of the ammo yourself.

The Thompson and Ken Hackathorn ... again
Gaffshot replied to thirtyround's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
The gun is what it is. One person's opinion doesn't really matter but I enjoyed hearing his anyway. I enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing. The Thompson is a bit heavy.... -
I bought a $80 new unfinished M1 barrel from green mountain and had it sent straight to BWE who put a nice park finish on it. Looks and runs great and I'm done for under $200.

Gaffshot replied to Petroleum 1's topic in Thompson Submachine Gun Message Board
I need one for my Bridgeport M1. Should an orignial GI barrel be parked to match the receiver? I think I heard that ReconBob's barrels are blued. What would be the correct finish? -
