You will be more comfortable with disassemble and reassembly after doing it a few times. I revaluated your firearm malfunction, I was wrong about bending inward it needs to be bent outward which will slightly lengthen distance. I think the hammer is being released too early and by bending the lower connector outward will also cause the hammer to be released latter. Rather than bending the connector outward you could also file the inside of the hook a little, test, remove a little more metal till corrected. Removing a little metal would possibly be better than bending. Sorry for the confusion

Haris357, The hook is not being bumped forward by the action bar, try bending downward, so that total lenght is reduced slighly.

Bore, Numrich or Keystone have the front sights instock. You will also need the set screw

All my firearms are shooting grade and own a very limited number of full auto firearms. I purchased a Reising seven years ago and first time out was disappointed with the performance. After extensive research it was alarming how divided everyone was on the Reising performance. Recently I took the time to resolve the issues and now the firearms is functioning flawlessly. If a firearm doesn’t function to your satisfaction fix it, live with it or sell it. For the few that don’t have the resources to fine-tune a Reising it’s sad that your not experiencing the firearms full potential. This website provides a lot of very useful information. Range Report With Numrich hammer spring, which is, smaller in diameter and shorter in length than the Wolf hammer spring. Ran 3 magazines loaded with 15 rounds each. Per magazine would fire three in semi mode and remaining in short round bursts. Gun performed flawlessly. The previous deep primer strikes have been slightly reduced Input would be appreciated Thanks

Springman, Didn’t do a before and after, very little material was removed from sticker end of firing pin. Yes, running very well with no feeding issues. Tomorrow will test with the smaller diameter hammer spring

Springman, No the deep primer strikes are not puncturing the primer but deep enough that am concerned I previously filled down the firing pin (Hammer end) Presently When hammer end of firing pin is flush with bolt the striking end of the firing pin is just below the face of the bolt Ran 80 rounds with no failures other than deep primer strikes While cleaning the gun I compared the active hammer spring ( Note - This spring has to be forced into the hole of the hammer) with hammer springs that I had purchased from Wolf and Numrich: Findings Wolf hammer springs are larger in diameter and longer in length Numrich hammer springs are smaller in diameter and shorter in length My thoughts are by reducing the amount of hammer force will reduce the deep primer strikes and also be less fatigue on the bolt, which possibly contributes to the bolts failure All Input would be appreciated Springman Keep in mind that the bolt I sent to you today has not be modified The sent bolt is compiled as follows: Bolt Used firing pin spring Used firing pin – previously bent and realigned by a machinist Firing pin retainer Thanks eewa
