I own several and i disagree with you on some points. It has been produced in a hurry but bluing is matching most of the time... I am looking for a salt blue recipe to give it a rebirth. The one i am working on was in excellent condition but a "friend" of mine trashed his bluing so i really need to make it as beautiful as possible.

Hello everyone, I am trying to reblue a MP44 but i am looking for a correct recipe of salts blue. I make a lot of researches but nothing fonnd until this day. Could someone help me ? Does someone achieve to make the correct blue period on one of this gun ? Many thanks, Brice

Here it is. You can easily notice that the pattern is different, the lone loop is is absent and it is smaller than thompson kerr sling.
