  1. If you sold me two you would still have 4 left to help with the sale.
  2. Good conclusion, I can surely see what you are referring to with each factor you Mention. I have a complete wolf spring kit installed. I have a Titanium Keystone pin installed. Each time I clean the innards I do clean the cavity the pin goes in. I clean the gun every 3 to 5 hundred rounds.
  3. I just got off the phone with Keystone and they have a large list of waiting orders,,,But, The shop that will make the mags is not cooperating with them. They have been patient for a long time with this place. Keystone owns the dies to make the mags and Keystone is going to deal with moving the dies and going to another shop. The problem is the effort to move the dies to another location.
  4. Contact method for Doug for the sleeve? I was going to call Keystone today about the 30s but got too busy,,,
  5. Ivan ? What modifications are needed to make the ProMag function in my reising
  6. Wish I knew that process but if I get one like that again I will sure give it a try. Thank you very much
  7. I'm currently on the list at Keystone when ever they make a bach. I have two Christie mags, I bought one from the ffl that I bought the gun from and the other one I did get on gun broker for a crazy premium price. The one on GB was too fat and would not fit in the magwell so die grinded it down til it fits and it works. The other one I can not get it adjusted to work. The one Christie that works is much more fun than the 3 20s I have,
  8. If you are lucky enuf to find 20 rounders let me know but they are expensive. I have 2 30s one is a piece of sheet and the other is ok.
  9. Contact info for John Andrewski ? I may need his skills some day.
  10. Thanks StrangeRanger You covered some points that I was wondering about, as example to use grease on the bolt. I was giving it a lite coat of oil but I have some grease similar to Lubriplate but it has moly mixed it so I will use that. I did remove the firing pin when I cleaned the bolt and cleaned the inside where the pin is, and I did make the modification to the firing pin. That was simple to achieve and it did not take much to remove the metal on the blunt end to change how much the firing pin pokes out the other end. Shotgun bore mop is a good way to do the receiver. Thanks
  11. Well,,152 views and no one has ever cleaned their Reising or wants to shell out some of their cleaning tricks or process.
  12. Now that I have been exercising my new to me Reising on several occasions behind my house and at my kids pond I need to clean my favorite gun. When do I need to clean her up? After a certain round count or when inside the chamber is dirty with soot, just what are ya-all doing? What cleaning solvent do you use? what oil do you use etc etc. And is there any certain area's internally I need to be sure and keep oiled etc. I have put at least 500 rnds thru her with 200 gn plated with unique powder. BTW I'm having a addiction and want to shoot her more and more, I have about 15K primers in my hord so I should be good for a little while and after that I wil be forced to pay the current cost for primers
  13. Picture of this ? I need to look at mine,,, it needs cleaning anyway
  14. My trigger is pretty stout also and in fact when I got it back from the smith for a check I thought something was amiss. I just got use to it and deal with it, but it can hamper accuracy until then.
  15. I have had feeding issues because of the feed lips and I have tweaked them some,,,but,,, I do not have any clue as to what manner I need to adjust them in or out. I have also had the follower get stuck and not move up as a bullet is pulled off the top of the mag and chambered. The follower seemed to get crossed up in the mag. The round would act like the nose of the bullet is not pointed upward enuf to go in the chamber,,, the bullet would jam up at the bottom of the chamber and stop,,, It does not happen all the time just once in a while and especially when I manually chamber the first round.
  16. Thank you very much I will give that a try 🙂
  17. must have been sold since a search does not bring it up. I did find a over priced 20 rnd mag
  18. Call Keystone and speak to Krystal. They have a metal one and a plastic one that has Kristie products molded in the side of the plastic loader. I first bought the metal one and it would not fit over several of my 20rnd mags for some reason. I exchanged it for their plastic loader and it works like a charm. I have two 30s and 3 20s and problem solved. Incidentally I got on a list with Keystone for 30 rnd mags when they get them made up. Keystone 570-491-4867
  19. I'm running xtreme plated RN 200g bullets. What over all length works for any reising reloaders that runs good? The gun runs flawlessly but some rounds don't chamber rather they end up cockeyed before they go in the chamber. I'm pretty sure it is with the mags and by adjusting the tabs at the top (whatever you call them) I have managed to improve the issue. I just want to know my OAL is in spec for the gun. Another Mag issue I experience is with the follower's,,, they some times get crossed up in the housing and get stuck. I have new springs in them and observed that I can bend the tabs on them and adjust the loosness as to their fit inside the housing. I have 3 oem mags and 2 Christys. Additionally I bought one Christy off gun broker and it fit crazy tight in the mag well. I took a die grinder and ground down the sides that contact the mag well then sanded them down smooth and now it fits, it does not look fancy but who cares it works LOL
  20. No wonder the harmful muskrats damaging my son n laws farm pond do not stand a chance with me LOL
  21. I'm jealous 😀 It took me almost 6 mos for ffl to ffl but the shipping ffl had been in trouble with atf so they had to ship on a Form 4. After that wait was over I had my paper file on a trust to wait on 13 months. It drove me bat Sheet crazy.
  22. The sending FFL did not have a SOT due to issues when they got themselves jammed up with ATF. I discovered this after I had paid for the Reising,,
  23. My dealer to dealer was done on a F4, why I do not know but it took almost 6 months. I found out the dealer had NFA violations and was in hot water with ATF. I did a trust and it took 13 months, that was the longest wait in my life.
