  1. I have a John Norrell kit in my M1 now, but I have no idea what it is worth, I bought it in '91, but I am trying to sell off my NFA weapons. Anyone know what the kit is worth? Thanks Paul
  2. dont you guys just hate how they show FA ak47s on CNN and say this is what was banned and will be returning if the ban dies....the stupidit/ignorance of reporters and such makes all gun enthusiasts look like killers
  3. The Norrel Kit doesnt seem to be USGI parts, To tell you the truth, I wish I knew more about this kit than I do. I bought it in 1992 and havent shot it since 1995. I didnt expect it to work perfectly after sitting in the safe for 10 years. The bolt is round and I will check all the extractor parts. There is one thing that I do not understand. When I have the stock off, I manually move the bolt and when I do this the Semi auto works as it should and the full auto works as that should. But when theres ammo in it, semi auto fires full auto all the time. Thanks for the help so far I really appreciate it.
  4. Yesterday I took my M2 carbine out to the range and it has numerous problems. First, it is a John Norrel conversion kit and that fire FA even when the selecto is on Semi. Also, I need an extractor. So, my question is if anyone can give me a link to any forums that deal with M2s or any online places where I can order parts from. Thanks for any help you may have.
  5. I just saw a model 55 in excellent condition for sale. It does not have the folder but is a 55 reciever and barrel. No mags come with the gun and a folding stock to complete it wont be an easy find nor will it be cheap. The price was $5450. What do you guys think of this price??
  6. It is unacceptable and cowardly in my opinion. They were defenseless prisoners whoever tortures the helpless is a true coward.
  7. Thanks for all the input guys I have another year of high school left and that is alot of time to decide. I just know that I am going to serve my country in some way. I am not tryin to brag but 5 years of football and track and year round weightlifting has given some amount of physical fitness. The physical demands of the Rangers does not worry me niether does the shootin i think I can hold my own on the range and in the physical aspect. But 11 years of school has also given me good grades and a 1260 on SATs and i think i should put that to good use as well. I thank all of you for the replies and lets hope to God that this situation will be settled quickly and that America will suffer as little as possible Not to be too political but Kerry will not help this situation that is a fact How can anyone vote for someone that protested his own country If he was 30 years younger he would be protesting this war as well We're there....lets support it and end it as best and as soon as possible
  8. Between this sh*t and the numerous soldiers dying everyday including Pat Tillman, I have changed my military planning. I had originally set my sights on going to college for a four year degree in aerospace engineering, and then applyin to OCS in the USMC to eventually attempt to become a USMC helicopter pilot. But lately I have been thinking alot and I have now decided to head straight for the rangers to get some of this action and take revenge for these deaths. I am 17 and this stuff may sound stupid to some of you guys but just know that there are still some young "punks" who really care about the future of this country. I have always known that I am meant to serve my country in some manner. All this recent terrorism has only fueled my desire.....
  9. Mandalls is a good place to go rent MG's. I was there last year and I rented a SAW M249 and a Mp5a2. Both were excellent fun but the only downfall was that we had to shoot in the basement. They had a small range setup using "tunnels". It was fine for me but when the group after me rented a 1919...well thats when I went deaf. If you go to Scottsdale go to the scottsdale gun club. They have outdoor facilities and prices are only slightly higher than Mandall's. You will get that outdoor feeling when you see the dust fly up.
  10. Im from Pa can u tell me where and when this is. My reising and m2 carbine and maybe even the ac556 are up for some car shooting.

  12. I just purchased a fairly large lot of factory 20 rounders. On all the factory 20s that I have ever seen near the bottom front of the mag it say NE-1 I have never known what this stood for nor have I ever had reason to find out. Well, as I began cleaning the inside of one of the mags, I noticed that there was an orange slime all over it. At first I thoguht nothing of it but then I saw it. It said NE-2 instead of the regular NE-1. I should state that the appearance and structure of the mag does not appear to be any different. Now I may be making a big deal out of nothing but I would like to know the story behind these markings. Does anyone know what they means? Also, if you are in need of some nice mags email me at benulis@losch.net
  13. Im not sure is this is a West Hurley drum. It just says auto ordnance with the thompson logo. As you can tell I am fairly new to thompsons, just got mine 2 months ago and I love it!
