  1. Haven't been on the board in some time, but some major changes in life have forced me to part with my 27A1, and accessories. If anyone is interested I have a Worcester "L" drum patented in 1920 for sale, drum has a small amount of pitting on the front rail and top front area of cover. ( I suspect form use of old ammo in the past. ) I need to take a few new photos, perhaps find some of that factory white lettering. colt1927NOSPAM@verizon.net (remove the NOSPAM)
  2. Thanks for the photos pretty neat. I wonder how or which part would need registered first, the tank or the Thompson?
  3. John, It should be a semi if its a Westie. The original 27's are Colt's. Unless its FA firing pin in which case the pin itself would be the registered part.
  4. Awesome gun, and excellent photos! Hope she purrs for you.
  5. I am aware that this or a similar bill has failed in the past but to simply sit back is just what the antis want. Each time a bill is introduced even if its repetitive it still must be watched and reps written. That's how the majority of our present laws became effective. If you think about it that's how we ended up with the president we have. The firearms owners had their heads in the sand. If just the shooting fraternity stood strong and voted we would hold the majority.
  6. http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h45/text Another attempt to tax firearms with removable magazines $10.00 per year in 5 year increments. Passport style photos a must!
  7. Did they life the ban on bringing in MG parts from abroad?
  8. I have it on e-mail alert at Amazon along with a few other movies that just opened in the theater. The picture and sound quality is far better at home as well.
  9. I just added everything as a separate rider on my insurance with State Farm, sent them a spread sheet with everything, including each piece of reloading equipment.
  10. I looked into it when it 1st came out back then they were selling in the $100.00 area. Unfortunately the only way a person in PA can get it is to go there, or have someone else buy it and ship. In PA the state owns all of the liquor stores. They also change the ability to directly receive goods frequently. Typical government BS.
  11. Here's a set of three grips as a comparison. The two opposing grips are from Dan Block aka Deerslayer. I ordered them unfinished and did a little fine sanding, stained and oiled them. Left: Kahr, Center: IMA reproduction, Right: Dan Block
  12. That's some top notch walnut he has there, maybe he put the recoil pad on to increase the stock length. But it wouldn't be there long if I had it. 30 k is WAY high unless it has amazing precedent. I would think one could have a really nice 28 or a semi nice Colt at that level.
