Amen Deputy........i'm with you 100% on all that....i'm younger than most of you guys but have been around the block before.....i'm currantly a fulltime firefighter....i hold the rank of captain...i earned that rank by caring for other people and going the extra mile to to put other lives before mine....i have received many certificates for several differant things i've done in my life ....beleve it or not...at the age or 15-17 i was my countys k-9 handler...yes...i was tracking criminals with my k-9....several times a week....i had no buisness out there doing such at a such young age....but i loved it...i was doing some good...i put several murders and robbers behind bars....and just like deputy said...before i got home and put my dog up the bastards was lose most of the time....pisses me off to no end that i was just out there risking my ass over some criminal and they let him go just hours later......i was serving my coummnity and was proud to do so..at that time i was one of the few "good" bloodhound handlers in the state of tennessee.....i got reconized by the senate and was presented with a certificate in person at the age of 16 by one of our senators.....for my suscess in finding missing persons "and criminals" and they all walked within hours usually...what kinda shit is that?? and they are so damn worried about this "AWB" that hasn't done a damn thing and should sunset......but noooooooo it has a bayo lug and pistol grip and is semi auto and look mean!!! oh but snipers use them....all the criminals are packing them around.....what a crock of horse shit......as far as i know...a sniper has a sniper rifle....hummmm.....one of them ummmmm...rem.700's .308 aka "a deer rifle" ??????? idiots need to know what they are even talking about..........oooooooooo but wait......aint there semi auto "deer rifles" thats not affected by this ban?? wow....i know the wanna be snipers that was using the bushmaster to plink off people surely could have done alot better job and reached even futher and probley never got caught if they was using a "deer rifle"....hummmmm...maybe a 30/06 .308.300 mag..etc...ohhh yea...a bolt action!! and all i hear is "oh how terrible that ar-15 is" what horse shit...that little bitty dinky hyped up 22 round??? it makes me sick of the though that we voted such ignorant fuckers in office.......i don't know about you guys...i'd much rather a modern wanna be sniper have his ar-15 and out for me.....atleast i know i can easily out gun him with a good ole deer rifle from wal-mart and drop him before he even gets within range of me with his plinker......hell i have 2 ar-15's....fun to shoot....but it sure aint something i'd be bragging about.....its just a good plinker and half good varmit rifle....i'd much rather super size it and go with the bigger hard hitting long reaching"true killer" rifles...ooooo thats not even in the AWB!!!! wonder what they would do if a real shooter with a real rifle went on a killing spree with a good ole proven sniper round like the .308 the bought at wal-mart....do these people think???? do they have a brain????? i'm very confused on this whole screwed up deal!!! but i know one thing...i'm getting me a 50cal rifle before they ban them too...theres already been some talk about it.....matter of fact....i'm buying every single military gun i can get while i still can....We really gotta put a stop to this crap....it starts here.....this is just the start and thats the scary part.....ooooo but we can have the same guns without the certain evil features right??? but must have a certain amount of US made parts??? i wanna know where that shit came from and what damn differance it makes anyways........THIS YEAR WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY.FOR THE FIRST TIME, A CIVILIZED NATION HAS FULL GUN REGISTRATION. WELL..........i have alot of thoughts on gun control....a firm grip is my first though and good aiming is my next.....i say we get a firm grip on the back of their collar and aim our boot at their ass and kick them right out of office.......i sure hope the awb sunsets...this country is suppost to be a free country...a man should have his feedom atleast until he does something to get it taken away..........well heres a no brainer...they restrict all these guns and slowly take the right away for people have guns all together....well...have they ever thought that the fucking criminals don't give a rats ass what they ban or make illeagal??? i mean duhhhhhhhh.....all they are doing is making this country more and more dangerous.....wanna cut crime rate??? give everybody a fucking gun!! the damn crininals wouldn't be a problem long and we wouldn't have all these damn taxes to support all these criminals on "death row" because their ass would be dead...i say make new laws...some fucker breaks in on you and you let him get away without atleast 1 round in his and you go to jail!! you get a life sentence..boom your dead..fuck spening billions and billions on criminals you give life sentences or death penality..bust a cap in their and throw them in a hole right then...i get really pissed off talking about this shit...we got kids out there doing without and hungry and you got all these fucking criminals with everything they need to live a healthy life in prision...and take it from OUR tax money thats suppost to support US and OUR country????? and they wanna take OUR guns that have these certain stupid ass features that makes it such a bad thing??? just how many crimes are commited with a auto or even these semi guns that fall under the AWB????? very very very few or hardly none...yeaaaaa take all the "BAD" guns from everyone....so a criminal can "without even a parts kit" can build a very simple full auto tube gun and mow down the under armed "good" people........btw...won't be me.....oh....and don't most of them have "OUR" body guards "we pay for" with the guns we can't have??? that "we pay for" what about us??? i think the same rules should apply to them also....what do they care? they are protected by "them guns"...why can't we be?? and by the way..if they didn't know....my first weapon of choice for protection aint a gun that falls under the AWB....its a 12 guage with oo buck shot...and i have fal's,ar-15's etc etc etc....hummmm.....ban shotguns next??? wait...can't do that...most of our great leaders duck hunt alot.......have they ever though about putting a ban on criminals that cause these problems to begin with?? i mean a ban that really works.......like..."exporting them and not allowing them to come back even if cut up"

yea! i'm getting an ultramag 50...already spoke for a certain one and sending money monday....i drank several beers in the hot tub...went across the road to that gas station and got a huge cup that held 2-3 beers and got a top and straw...lol....sounds like a good idea to me.......our room is already booked for april..we booked it when we left last time....lol..so anyone that wants to be sure to get a room in brooks you might wanna reserve it now.......since most of us seem to stay in brooks..maybe some of you other guys might look at staying at the comfort inn....we'll be checking in thursday evening and checking out sunday evening....little less than 6 weeks away! better get a room and send those entry fees in! stuff fills up faster and faster every year.....

Yea...i think we need to have a get together..say saturday night after a day at knob and all meet up somewhere to have a bite to eat and drink a beer and shoot the poop....anyone here gonna have a position on the lower range? maybe we should all go in together and reserve us somewhere to shoot or something...that might be tough though...anyone have any ideas? might be a great idea for all of us to go in and help pay for something like that for machinegunbooks.com....i'm sure frank and nick would like to spread the word alittle more and have some books and goodies to sell....anyone have any ideas? we could all get together and make out own shooting club or something....speaking on such...i need to donate alittle to help keep this board going...it would be a good idea for all of us to donate alittle money...together we could build it up and get alot of enjoyment from it...on the most part it seems like a great bunch of guys here...any ideas or input from anyone else on any of this?

LOL...yea i'm with you on that ron....kinda what i was thinking...thats why i posted here about it......i get pretty upset when someone messes with my money....it wasn't just about the money i would have made on the kit..its the parts i have bought and have to pay for with that money! i have a supply guy and he gives me good deals..real good deals...i always double and triple my money easy...so they was really messing with about 6 grand ....thats enough to me to get ugly over..very ugly...lol
