huggytree
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=541356388 i saw it and thought it was a West Hurley.....was it real? the shape, condition, recessed screw hole and lack of markings is what made me not bid who ever paid $300 thought it was real id assume Edited February 29, 2016 by huggytree
gijive
huggytree, Yes, it was real. It has been heavily sanded, however, which kept the price down. Recessed screw hole and no markings are characteristic of original Remington made grips for the Colt guns. Incidentally, all the original vertical fore grips have the recessed screw hole.
