TD. Posted September 1, 2018 Report Share Posted September 1, 2018 I can certainly see how someone could think that mark is the letter "R." However, it is not that clear to me. I believe it is a buggered up "P" or proof mark, perhaps over an "S" mark. And no, I cannot explain why this barrel would have two proof marks. Let's get some more opinions!
