G-Man1006
I picked up this FBI case when I purchased my Colt 1921AC Thompson several years ago. I finally took some photos and would like some information / opinions about the case. There is no manufactures label that I can find. On the two latches there is the following,EAGLE LOCK CO. MADE IN USA TERRYVILLE, CONN. I would be especially interested in knowing the manufacturer of the case and when it was manufactured. Thanks in advance. JJX
Yes it does look like a Books case. I had one with a few minor variations. Yours has two little holes under the handle where the label could have been fastened. It looks like the holes are aligned slightly differently from mine. Your hinges look the same as mine, but were installed over the covering instead of under the covering.
G-Man1006
After seeing the 2 other posted examples of Books cases I would agree that mine is a Books Trunk Co. case too. Thanks for the information. Dan
