Ryo Posted February 4, 2021 Report Share Posted February 4, 2021 I have a WH Thompson SMG that has a broken rear sight. Does anyone know where I can go to get a replacement leaf sight or even the whole ladder? I've looked around and mostly I found a Lyman sights and wasn't sure if they would fit if I just replace the ladder. I suppose another option is to just replace the whole thing with a Lyman.. but I heard that could be difficult to do due to depending on hole placement Side note, the rear sight feels loose which I understand isn't a uncommon occurrence. 06AngusSG Posted February 4, 2021 Report Share Posted February 4, 2021 The WH use the same as the newer Kahr's. I used my Kahr base and bought a Lyman ladder for it from Numrich Arms. There is a little modding needed to the spring plunger because the detents are a little different. But if you have any filing and sanding skills it's easily done. The Lyman ladder is MUCH better.
