Bill-banger
Where can I find the buttstock oiler for the MP44? It was common with the Gewehr 41 & 43 also. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/unsure.gif
Jay Baker
I don't believe there ever was one. What goes in the butt stock trap is a manual, take down tool and gas tube brush. If you have a manual, it shows all accessories for the Sturmgewehr, no oiler is shown. If you don't already have it, get Peter Senich's book THE GERMAN ASSAULT RIFLE 1935-1945. Every detail of the MP44 series is covered.

Waffen Und Bier
I believe the MP43/44/StG44 uses the same cleaning kit/ oiler as the standard Kar98k.
