Walter63a
That is right folks!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif At the request of the Democraps, the Organization For Security And Cooperation In Europe will observe (for the first time ever) our Presidential election for "irregularities!" http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif This is a very unsettling development , especially in light of the fact that this group is normally involved in monitoring elections in third world nations! They also attempt to train other nations in "democracy." Read the article!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif Regards, Walter http://www.aicgs.org/c/renvertc.shtml Maybe the Germans have truly "awakened"!!! DDAYJune6
well last time we obviously sucked at running out own election http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
Mike Hammer
This is very funny, the Europeans telling America how to run a Democracy! God, I'm rolling on the floor! This is merely a thinly veiled attempt at the Commie European countries to influence the outcomes of our elections. Since 80% of Europeans support Kerry, can you guess where these people are going to scream 'voter irregularies', in all the states that Kerry will lose by a close margin. How could we allow these people to come in here and tell us how to run an election. If I saw one of these "watchers" at my voting place, they would have to carry them out on a strecher! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif Mike Hammer
Norm
QUOTE well last time we obviously sucked at running out own election How did we suck at running the last election? Just because GWB won? He got the most electorial votes, and that made him the winner; that is the law. Period. Winning the popular vote does not always ensure winning the election for President. Many people squawked about votes that were thrown out as unqualified in Florida. The simple truth is that millions of votes all over the country all disqualified in every election for the same reason. DDay, you seem like a young guy. I am glad to see you take an intrest in our political system AND in the election process. You should understand this by now, polotics is a very dirty game and thinking about it usually makes the common man more upset. Good luck and go vote! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
DDAYJune6
well i just got back from voting and if you dont think were not that good at running an election, it took them 10 minutes to figure out that I was 18, at first she just said "you cant vote", i showed her my id, born january 23 1986, and she had to call some people over to verify that. sad that we have people running an election that cant count. Norm
Maybe you should contact your election commision; they are locally elected officials. I had no problem here (Memphis, TN.)
Deputy 89C6
We had new computerized machines (4) at a small rural polling precinct and within 20 minutes two of them had crashed. The poll wokers didn't know if the votes in them would count. Steve
DDAYJune6
once i got my age issue cleared up I had no problem voting, it just scares me a little that the people running the election do not understand simple math.
Walter63a
QUOTE (DDAYJune6 @ Nov 2 2004, 10:46 AM)well last time we obviously sucked at running out own election DDAYJune6, the main reason there was any controversy at all four years ago was that the bull-headed Liberal Democrats were crybabies who couldn't deal with, much less accept, reality (the reality that they lost fair and square in the Electoral College)! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif The problem in Florida was that the Democraps could not accept the fact that they lost that state, even after two recounts!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif So, being the immature spoilsports they are, they chose to sue. These morons could not face the truth, and certainly would not accept the popular will of the people and the due process of the Electoral College. The lawsuit and activist judges are typically what the libs use to thwart the democratic process in this nation. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif These liberal Democrats are the ultimate elitist pigs, much like the Nazis in 1933-1945 Germany and the Communists in the Soviet Union of 1917-1990. Like the leaders of those two failed movements of the past, the Liberal Democrats of today respect only their own will, can't be reasoned with and are more stubborn than lemmings on their way over the proverbial cliff!!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif Regards, Walter P.S. Here is the take of the Freedom Alliance (Oliver North's group) on the O.S.C.E. 'intervention' in our election and its implicit threat to our sovereignty! http://www.freedomalliance.org/view_articl...le.php?a_id=
H-Minus
Wow--- OSCE, what a bunch of morons. Worked with them in Bosnia, where they couldn't have elections without the US's help. These are the same guys that couldn't even figure out how many ballots they needed..... and couldn't secure the ballots either. I feel so much better now knowing they are on the scene. john
Took the wife and I five minutes to vote. Small city (less than 1000 voters) and plenty of booths. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif My take on 2000 was that IF Gores Manager had been anyone other than Richie Daley Jr. the race would have NEVER been as close as it was. Daley learned from his old man (The best vote "fixer" in the country, BAR NONE!!) I predicted problems when that race started and was right on! I can't say on this one for sure, but my predictions are: Dubya by 22++ Electoral votes AND he WILL take Minnesota!!! Lets see how close I am. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif john
