draver
Browsing the Sportsman's Guide site for Thompson gear and discovered that the "L" drums are back in the mix. I imagine they had some cancellations from the last shipping delay. Still, if you're interested, maybe...

hrt4me
Thanks for the heads up. I placed an order, and *IF* they are actually delivered, then I will consider myself lucky. Edited April 28, 2006 by hrt4me
JimFromFL
Did you call and ask if they actually had them in stock or if they are expecting them in?
draver
QUOTE (JimFromFL @ Apr 27 2006, 10:57 AM)Did you call and ask if they actually had them in stock or if they are expecting them in? I'd only be wasting their time and mine by calling to ask if they were in stock. They've been on "Backorder" since last year. The last delivery date they emailed me was for 5/12/06. I only posted the availability in case Hell does freeze over.
TNKen
Thought about ordering one, but what if they are from the same stash as the ones on Sturmg a few weeks ago??? Those were described in great condition as well. Not a good thing. Ken

Bisley45
I tried asking about one of those drums and the lady didn't know what they were had me on the phone for twenty minutes and they can tell me nothing for certian about the damn things. Sportsmans guide gets some good stuff from time to time but you have to sort threw the shit. BB

Sgt
The phone handlers at SG (or at least the ones I encountered) have no clue about the drums. You have to give them an item number. I don't have that in front of me,but maybe someone here does if you need it.
hrt4me
You can call Sportsman's Guide Purchasing Manager Jason Morrison at (651) 552-5179 and talk to him about the drums. He is independent of the sales people / phone handlers.
