lamellarllc
Just curious as to how many people have and or use them? Edited August 3, 2015 by lamellarllc
Merry Ploughboy
No 100 round drum for me. I hardly ever use the 50 round drum that came with the 27A1. Ammo prices are ridiculous and I don't reload, but I guess I should.
lamellarllc
I have ran my 50 rounds drum twice so far its been 100% perfect. I cant figure out why but I want one so I figured id get some intake on them!
Motorcar
Yes but full auto only...about 9-10 seconds worth. Do a site search on the C drum threads so you know what you are getting into. Merle set mine up and it's a runner.

timkel
They are heavy but good. I have one on the new GPC marked C drums. It worked perfectly right out of the box. They are reasonably priced at
giantpune
I have a newer Kahr 1927 and got one of their 100 round drums. Maybe I'm using it wrong cause mine holds like 102 bullets. The gun and the drum work perfectly. My only complaint is actually the drum is physically too big. You have to really reach around it to get your font hand on the fore grip. I haven't shot a 50 round one, but I imagine it would be less awkward reaching around it. Edited May 3, 2019 by giantpune

I think this is 101, and still an empty space up at the top for another. Here's a shot showing the drum and the foregrip. You really have to reach around the drum to hold it. Ignore the long barrel. Waiting for SBR stamp. Edited May 4, 2019 by giantpune
timkel
The C drum loaded correctly should look like this according to the directions. Edited May 4, 2019 by timkel
giantpune
Looks like you have room for another round there at the 4 o'clock position. Yours is a 101 round drum, too.
Hossbreed45
No expert here but in the printed instructions below his photo it states to leave those last two holes empty. No idea why...
giantpune
No idea why...Seems to work perfectly fine with one in the 5th hole, counter-clockwise. If I had to guess, I'd say it was more to do with keeping it a nice round 100 number rather than the drum not functioning correctly. The gun was designed by a military man and marketed towards government bodies. They like nice simple math. Its a lot easier to do division and multiplication if the drum holds 100. Two 50 round boxes of bullets fills up a drum. A case of 1000 rounds fills up 10 drums. 101 is a prime number and would confuse the shit out of the government bean counters. IMO, its no accident that mags hold 10, 20, 30, 50, and 100 rounds. Edited May 5, 2019 by giantpune
