Just as a point of reference, my last paper-filed Form 4 (silencer) took exactly 375 days (1 year, 10 days) from ATF marking it "received" to actually having my suppressor in hand. My first suppressor (paper-filed) took about 4 months. I've been told that you cannot e-file a Form 4. Is this correct? The phone number for status checking is: 304-616-4500. Have your serial number handy because they will ask you for it right away. Hope this helps...

Just some general info that some may find useful: My son received today his SBR Form 1 Tax Stamp via US Mail. It took 263 days (paper filing) from the ATF Acceptance Date to Stamp in hand. It was actually approved and signed on July 12th and took 11 days to get here. He's a Happy Camper!!! I, as of today, am in 176 days on my paper filing SBR Form 1 . Guess I still got awhile to wait.....

Where did you find the info on mag catch modification? I'd like to do the same to mine. Thanks!

I'm no expert here by any means but I believe that the O.D of both finned and smooth barrels are the same diameter where it meets the receiver, therefore a GI handguard that fits the 1/2" wide grip mount will work for either barrel. There is no difference. The commercial handguard with the 3/4" groove will work too but there will be a large gap between it and the barrel. Just won't look right! Experts may correct me...

I'm no expert but IMHO it would be in violation of Federal Law. Perhaps I'll be corrected by someone with more knowledge than me...

My TM1 had the same issue. I polished it myself and also polished the feed ramp. All good now!

Are you talking about the EXTRACTOR and not the ejector?
