Thanks for all the kind words and well wishes. Love the M2 Carbine, mostly because they're still affordable to purchase and shoot. The Thompson is still the ultimate full auto though.

I have an I.B.M marked "M-2". It is not an m-1 with a 2 stamped into the 1. Yes, I know the books all say only Winchester and Inland made M-2s. Mine should be of interest to the experts. I have examined the mark under magnification and it is definately "M-2". Anyone know how to contact Larry Ruth?
