Ron Mills
I found it listed as episode 22; no pics of the 28A1 on IMDB. I'll keep looking.

StrangeRanger
Mary Ann! Too much of the "girl next door." I prefer a little bit trashy. Ginger qualifies.

StrangeRanger
I guess it all depends on whether you're looking for Ms. Right or for Ms. Right Now

Ron Mills
Could very well be one of the Stembridge rentals, with that oversized comp in the 1st pic.
Bridgeport28A1
I actually think there are two different Thompson in the scenes.
2ndArmored
The Professor was a WWII combat vet in the Army Air Force. That episode was probably not the first time he'd handled a Thompson.
ppgcowboy
You all do know that Amazing Grace can be sung to the tune of Gilligans Island.
Ron Mills
I actually think there are two different Thompson in the scenes.I agree. 2 different front ends for sure.
mnshooter
The one poking through the weeds has the Stembridge "flats" on the front fins; used for each easy wrenching during barrel changes.Presumably the same gun is doing the actual firing, and is held by the prof. immediately after; Note no cross bolt on that one.The prop being carried, and held by the professor in the close up, has a cross bolt; also,no actuator slot, and a solid (closed) ejection port. Ron Mills
Good eye thanks! Not only no actuator slot, but the actuator knob is sideways. Saw the flat fins too now. Could be #8245, the one Vic Morrow carried on Combat; #4090 being his (Vic's) other firing gun (crossbolt).

pvt81pvi
Ron Mills. The phrase "My finger cannot read numbers" is not trademarked as far as I know. I would guess it is in public domain so feel free to use it as needed. Thanks, pvt81pvi
