JimFromFL
QUOTE (Z3BigDaddy @ Dec 13 2004, 06:56 PM) Also sounds like he is getting ready to stop taking more drums in... I hope he plans on passing his knowledge on to others. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif
Z3BigDaddy
Let me revise this... He is getting backed up, and possibly may not be taking more in the near future... He is not quitting by any means.... I was just trying to give a heads up for people who want to get work done in the nearer future....
PK.
I spoke with Merle yesterday- he has seen 3 and evaluated 2 (the one with the missing spring rivet couldn’t be evaluated) I have 5 inbound and hope to test them this weekend. I will post a detailed report and recommendation, then open up the order if it looks like it will fly. The distributor has stock. Watch for a NEW thread early next week. GESMod28
Just received my L drum from Kahr - paid $284 on individual purchase - looks nice but will not be able to test fire for at least 90 days until my Form 4 clears on my WH 1928. Grey Crow
I'm ready (fist full of B-Money in hand) I would think that the L's would work. Kahr's X works great, so long as you count the louder clicks. For me its an addition to the growing collection, all I need now are a C, Bridgeport, Colt, and LE drums. I guess with the prices for the drums I still need, I would have a start for another Thompson. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
