kilroyjones
Nice looking Tommy, especially with the slot machines in the background. Did you have the gun reblued or is that the original factory finish?
Elbow
Thanks. It's never been reblued.I hardly shot the gun. It's only seen about 250 rnds at the most. It does jam every now and then. It was made by A.O. in the mid 90's. Some of the things I want to do is: 1. Cut the barrel down 2"(total 16 1/2 ) 2. Round the knob 3. Get a bolt hold open lever installed 4. Maybe get a Lyman rear sight. ( don't know if it's worth the $$$) 5. Do something about the heavy trigger pull. Can't pull the trigger fast enough. and what ever else I might see later on. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wacko.gif
Sgt
Great looking gun! Dan did a good job on that wood.
Zamm
That is a very nice gun! Great wood, excellent condition. Don't think you can do much about the trigger pull, but the rest will sure finnish it off. best, Zamm
Norm
Nice gun, but an ironic picture.... The Anti-Bandit Gun leaning against The One-Armed Bandit! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif

Elbow
cavdiver:How well does your 5 cent slot work.Mine works great, even the Jackpot works. This slot has a little history to it. I got this from a co-worker acouple of years ago.He wanted me to fix it for him.So I did, but he didn't want it back because he was in the middle of a seperation from his wife at the time.So he sold it to me for 200.00.(bargin) I asked him where he got it from and he told me it was once his wifes uncles machine.I forgot his name but he was a retired Chicago police officer. He went on saying that it was taken during a raid many, many years ago.I don't know exactly when, but he retired back in the late 50's or early 60's.Who knows,it could be one of Capones.. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif
cavediver
Elbow, My 5 cent works great. I ot it from a guy that was a slot mechanic for the New Orleans mob. He was an old guy and I had gottne 5 old slots that were chopped up by the police but had alot of good parts including the escalators, which move the coind and were usually destroyed. I traded my parts and some cash. It is fun to have and works well.
Elbow
I know,it's on my mind. The cocking knob looks like a trash can sitting on top of the gun.It really takes away the look of the gun. I don't know why they went with THAT style. How can i go about getting one made, since we are on the subject? Does any one here have an extra rounded cocking knob laying around and willing to give it up to me for $$ http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif ? And thanks to everybody for the great comments,I certanly appreciate them. Edited May 23, 2005 by Elbow
