JohnnyRingo12
Besides Phil Ord. is there a company that makes them? With original inside measurements? NFA amnesty
i am sure you saw the same search results as I did on the web, hence why you are asking for help. I think Philly is the only one making 80% receiver tubes. Wish I could help more, and almost did not post, but hated to see no one replying back to your question. Wish I could help more, and almost did not post, but hated to see no one replying back to your question.I found a place called cold steel solutions, they make a tube for a fraction of the cost. At $80 I was a little skeptic assumed it was for a semi build, but I contacted and they said the ID is to original spec. I ordered one of those. Hopefully I don't get what I pay for and it is quality. Any idea if something happened to the Phil. Ord guy? I know he posts on here from time to time. http://www.coldsteelsolutions.com/shop/receiver-blanks/fbp9-mp40-receiver-blank/
NFA amnesty
Funny I found that too with my search but did not think it was finished enough for you regarding 80% receiver tube. For the money guess it is worth a try.

reichstall
I have seen a cold steel it takes a lot of time for them to get to you, but they will. It is a straight tube no raised ridge as original. but the one i seen ran without problems.

signal_4
Send the email and wait for Bob's......you won't regret it....I thought Bob stated in a different post thats hes not currently making them because he needed to rebuy the correct old school machinery. That he had sold his to buy newer technology that turned out to be a big fail.

That he had sold his to buy newer technology that turned out to be a big fail. Saw that after the fact.......fortunately I just picked up a Philadelphia tube on Sturmgehwer......it is perfection. I have offered to scout several manual machine dealers in my area for a horizontal mill, no reply so far. I have had a cold steel on order for months, and they insist on shipping to an FFL.As I am looking at tooling up to make MP40/FBP bolts in both a semi and original version for the build community.....and am looking at a one time run of Display recievers but not sure if I can get the time......
