reconbob
I was working on a new Kahr M1 pattern semi auto today and I did a double take when I looked at the ejector. I thought I was "losing it" then I realized that the body of the ejector - the part that screws into the receiver - was 180 degrees off. The ejector is supposed to be flat on the front side where it contacts the base of the cartridge, and have a radius on the back side for strength. The ejector in this gun - which is not original GI - was manufactured with the radius facing the front and the flat facing to the rear. The owner has never fired the gun. I do not know how the gun would work/not work with this ejector. This would be something to check if you are thinking of getting one of these. I have not yet tried replacing it with a GI ejector. mike in pa
Next time on Kahr...why you need 75 lbs of leverage to open your bolt! Now I have to check the ejector in my gun!

2ndArmored
Bob, you're just too picky! I have two 1927A1's and both ejectors are properly oriented. Maybe it's just a problem with the M1 semi's. Or perhaps the newer 1927A1's are similarly defective.
Mark Michael
I just shot my Kahr 1927 A1 for the first time Sunday. The ejector is in the right position. And the rear sight didn't fall off. It was almost a good day. Lots of trouble with the drum. It was one of the $100.00 ones. Oh well it looks good in the rack! Bet it's still the gun and not the drum. I thought my drums were a pile till I got rid of the gun. Now it put me out of my own gunsmithing. Load n shoot is all.-adlake Edited September 8, 2010 by adlake
