dalbert
All, This thread will serve to gather data on a few specific characteristics of Ingram Model 6 Submachine Guns in circulation today. If you are willing to supply this information, conclusions based on the data gathered might be used in future publications. 1. What is the serial number of your M6? 2. Does it have a commercial style rear sight, or does it have a protected rear sight? Commercial rear sight: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/MGBoards/Commercialrearsight.JPG Protected Rear Sight: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/MGBoards/Protectedrearsight.JPG 3. Are the bolt, trigger and cocking handles blued or unblued? Example of unblued bolt and cocking handle: http://www.sturmgewehr.com/dalbert/MGBoards/M6Bolt.JPG The goal is to determine the serial number range where the protected rear sight began to appear, and when the 3 originally unblued parts began to be blued. Thanks! David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com

darrylta
Brian, I think you got the better of the two sets that Ruben had for sale. I spoke to Ruben about them and decided to pass on them since both had case issues and pitting issues. I probably screwed the pooch on that one. His lowered prices on them made them good deals indeed. Good luck, Darryl Here are the photos http://www.subguns.com/classifieds/index.c...query=retrieval
bmarvin
He still has one left. In my opinion they both were better deals than the one that Steve had for sale with the re-worked case for the same price. Hooded rear sight, blued handle and bolt. Got a chance to shoot a few rounds thru it and it's a pretty nice gun IMO. I do like that trigger option. Thanks!
