MG08
Hi Dave - is the gun in question a pre may sample ? I don't know if I have ever seen transferable one for sale. the pre may guns run around the 6-8k range when I have seen them for sale, but it has been while for one of those as well Send Bob Naess a note and ask him directly- he keeps an eye on stuff like this I also am to lazt to go look at the MG price guide and see if any are listed. http://www.machinegunpriceguide.com/

huggytree
Naw its on sturm at $14,000 Its a Norrell so I assume a tube gun A real one was at auction last year and did not sell I dont know if $14,000 is nutty or not Rarity vs desirability. I suspect its rare but not desirable Model designation is mk2 on form 4 so this further makes me believe its a tube. Not c&r To me? This is a$8500 gun off the top of my head. No different than a used brp or stemple kit gun Parts kits are $290 Mags $40 I wonder if the seller came up with the price using a mp40 as a guide. Mp40 parts kits are $2500-2800Mags $100-120 Ammo costs would be another negative on this gun. Double the cost of 9mm Seller would never accept a -$5500 offer. Most likely. But without knowing what others have sold for its what Id think the value is. I see it as a stemple sten/ stg 76 price Not a mp40 Wilson price. No war history. Who has seen one of these sell? Mg price guide? Ive realized its a bs price guide. Any prices Ive given dont show up while high end asking prices show up every time. I think he is a shill for the big national dealers to justify their high prices. Not real world sell prices. yohuang
RIAC sold one in April, 2018. Cost to the new owner was $8625 (with 15% Buyer's Premium, but not counting $200 tax nor shipping). This one.. it looks being original to me on these pictures:https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/73/3401/zastava-yugoslavia-56-machine-gun-762-tokarev Sounds not bad? It's a dealer sample though. Not fully transferable. The importer stamp makes sense in this context. Edited December 16, 2018 by yohuang
Black River Militaria CII
There are no original guns in the NFRTR that I have heard of or know of. The RIA gun is a pre-May smaple imported by Inferamrs. There are a small number of pre-May samples in the US and a few remanufactured exmaples built on Sten tubes.Values are very low for these guns. They are solid and good shooters, but not popular. FWIW
yohuang
There are no original guns in the NFRTR that I have heard of or know of. That's not true though. Based on auction observation, there are many original guns. There are also many rebuilt/refurbished/converted/reactivated, etc.
huggytree
guy on sturm is asking $14k for a tube gun, or a semi converted......i thought it was way out of line its a norrell....i dont see markings on the pics, so im thinking tube gun....i had a feeling it was a $8500 gun....anything that shoots is worth $8500 pretty much...it falls into that generic category like the stemple stg 76's and other odd tube guns w/ kits on them...this ones model is called the MK2... now to offer a guy $8500 for a gun he wants $14000 for...aint gonna happen.... i wouldnt mind the gun for a shooter price...its interesting...spending 2x on ammo is another nail in the coffin...only nice thing about the gun is parts and mags are available and cheap... for $14k cant you get a C&R ppsh ?? yohuang
for $14k cant you get a C&R ppsh ?? RIAC sold one at $11500 in September 2018. https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/74/1383/soviet-ppsh41-smg-wex-drums-fully-transferrable-nfa This sample was not lovely though. It had mixed parts, and it was nickel plated, which is very ugly IMO. Original PPSh41 in great condition is expensive, probably too expensive.... such as this one: https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/73/1730/russian-ppsh41-machine-gun-762-mm-tokarev
huggytree
if anyone is interested in it the guy is willing to go $12k on it...its on Sturm...im a buyer at $8500....im not a buyer at $12,000.....too many other better guns to buy in the middle price range of $12-18k id rather have.....for $8500 id grab it for another shooter.. he verified its a tube gun... PTRS-14.5
There are at least two transferable Type M-56. One found a home here years ago... At a price I'm sure you would find unreasonable fir even then. PTRS
