sidthefields70
I had a day off today and watched saving private ryan, the untouchables, capone and road to perdition. All in the presence of my 1928A1 and a few beers. My favourite scene which i rewind and watch over and over like an autistic child, is the scene in saving private ryan when ted danson and co let rip with two thompsons and shred the germans that have been urpised. Any other films/documentaries you can recommend? Seeing as I can't shoot my gun, I may as well watch as many people as I can shoot theirs!! Mike Hammer
The fact that Danson ever got that role is still a mystery to me. He was far too old to play a paratrooper and in real life both he and his wife are flaming liberals and he is most assuredly part of the anti-gun crowd. That scene loses are imagined reality for me for the mere fact he is in it. Mike Hammer
Bruce L
Miller's Crossing. Albert Finney and his Thompson with the M drum. Best Thompson scene ever!
dalbert
Bruce L, Yes, the "M" drum was awesome. As I recall, he dumped about 800 rounds in that scene... David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com
bug
As they say, "The old man's still an artist with the Thompson".

thirtyround
No 21 or 28 action but Kelly's Heroe's has some great M1 / M1A1 shooting scenes throughout going for it.

kickstartit
If your in the mood for some Science Fiction watch King Kong, the one with Jack Black. There is a scene showing racks of Thompsons, and lots of full auto mag dumps shooting giant insects.
