Always contact first. He may be back logged and want you to wait a little. And he can tell you what does need to be done. Have not talked to a better repair technician for anything.

I just hand it to him, much easier than mailing and all that crap... <_< Makes it nice being as he lives in "the coastal fog" same as I do.... :rolleyes:

I contacted Merele concerning my drum problem, and his advice was extremly helpful. I now have a 100 rounder that runs great.

All it needed was a little tweaking, and a USGI recoil spring of the proper length.

Saw where Merle Bitikofer passed away in 2023.    Does anyone have recommendations on someone to work on the winding key of an Auto Ordnance L Drum,  simple rivet job.   Someone repaired using a phillips head screw and a nut...... pictures below.....
