  1. Try Don Bell at omega weapons system, he still shows the actuator in stock. http://omega-weapons-systems.com/thompson1928m1.html

  2. Just go the complete pk route. Send him the actuator and order the spring and buffer assembly. Done,no fuss. You just need to send him the actuator to have milled. He does the milling when he gets enough.

  3. 38a handle assembly is machined and fits in a track machined into receiver. 38/42 and later models use a threaded knob that holds a stamped piece to cover cocking slot in receiver. The knob portion screws on to a stud that comes from the inside of receiver. It just gets snugged up so it’s not too loose and not too tight . Then you get a punch or staking tool to dent stud so it locks into screwdriver slot in The knob. As long as the knob does not turn any it will not come loose. Also the stamped cover has an indention that matches one in the receiver which guides it back and forth. 38a handle does not interchange.

  4. I remember when this Model of 1927 frame was on the market at Knob Creek several years ago. The serial number is NO 4332. Not a bad deal if you have a Colt with a GI frame.
