You guys have to get a barrel made to shoot the swede training ammo out of your guns. I have one for my 76, cheap ammo cheap fun.

I got the barrel and it works perfectly. It is both tapered and rifled. No problems feeding or firing with the exception of a weak round here and there. Here is my guy's email. He is very easy to work with and a true gentleman. josephd99@comcast.net

Well my guy in WA state has made my barrel and I should have it by this weekend. He makes them for the UZI and a few other smg's, and they work flawlessly. My barrel will be the first he has made for a 76. I sent him one of my barrels so he could get the specs from it. As I understand it there is plenty of this ammo around and at 1/3 the price and ready for your speed loader how can you go wrong? My guy only charges $175 for these barrels. I will post his contact info assuming my gun works OK with the new barrel. He said that the ammo is much more sensitive to feeding issues than standard ball. I will let everyone know

Anybody ever buy the swede training ammo to shoot rather than just for the stripper clips? I read it would not cycle, nor was it good for your gun because it shoots a 5mm BB. I sent a barrel to a guy who makes them for this ammo, so he can get the specs. Any of you hear of this before?

Dear Sirs, I am in the process of puchasing a S&W model 76. I live in CT and need to have the weapon converted from select-fire to full auto only before I can legally take possession of it. I have an FFL Weapons Manufacturer who will do the conversion if I provide him with literature or a sketch on how to do it, so he can do the conversion without worrying about making a mistake. He had taken it to S&W in Springfield MA but there were no employees left who knew anything about the gun. I have only been able to find one person who knows how. I offered to compensate him for his time and knowledge but he said it was not neccessary and that he would send me the info, it has been over a month and 10 phone conversations with him and I still have no info. If there is anyway you can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I am running out of time and I am out of options. Thank you for your time. Kinsella
