  3. I am fully licensed. This one I did jointly with a friend who is a 07 mfr and you can see where his name is engraved on the side above the trigger guard. If I wasnt licensed the gun would be illegal and would be destroyed It would transfer to your dealer on Form 3 which takes a week lately and then on to you via a Form 4 which is taking 6 months now
  4. Ricca, Sarco,GunParts Corp and Keystone all claim to have none. I need some now. MedeaCorp also out Any member want to sell me 2? I would buy 10 if I could find a someone. Thanks, all! If any of you guys at Knob creek see any, could you call me at 479 466 2525? and buy me some. I would even send a ship label with the payment
  5. Here is an alternative. I use image shack but very actively. I pay 4 bucks a month but I use 1000's of pics Its free for most folks . Take your picture and save it to the desktop or if you take them with a phone ,u can load them to image shack direct-I use an app called skypath from the desktop,go to image shack and check your picture. in upper right hand corner, there is a link icon select forum code, click copy and paste it here in your thread. It wont use up any memory since its linked to your imageshack and it comes out in a nice size!! http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/924/rW3DhY.jpg
  6. Will an Iver Johnson Enforcer or Super Enforcer Drop into a regular stock so it can be shouldered. Of couurse a tax stamp would be involved but now one could control the beast! It appears from pics that the handguard is too short to meet up with the barrel band . Anyone try this or know? Thanks, everyone!!
  7. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/bFFg5W.jpghttp://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/924/u1pExo.jpg I bought a Kahr Lightweight 1927 and had a m1a1 barrel installed and put a horizontal foregrip on it and I love the balance as well as the look. The steel semi auto with 16 inch barrel is butt ugly and a real clunker. But they dont make a lightweight SBR I was thinking of two models, a military one from their m1 and one made from a 1927a1 and install the short 10 1/2" smooth barrel like many of them had in WW2 when they used M1928's I was thinking I can sell them here at $1300 for the m1 model and 1350 for the 1927a1 model. Brand new guns would be bought for this project. I will sell them on gunbroker for more. It would be a fun project. Of course anyone could do this on a Form 1. This is a gun that Kahr doesnt offer and I think it would go over. Of course a tax stamp would be involved. Here is the process: I purchased barrels and Front sights from Gun Parts Corp and had them installed. regards Haris If anyone has questions or interest, contact me at Haris45@sbcglobal.net FYI: SBR'S Offered Now by Kahr is over 2 grand MSRP for the M1 and almost 2200 for the 1927A1 MSRP I think I can sell them on GB for 1600 to 1800 !!!
  8. RIA is more costly. Normal commish to the seller is 20% with a 15% buyer premium. RIA makes 35% on hign price items they lower the seller premium but I dont know what that is.
  9. Chris, everything you said happens but there is not even a light strike and hammer is forward. round is chambered
  10. it is one son of a gun to take those parts in and out!!
  11. Folks, just acquired a Reising 50 from a Connecticutt chap and it was sent with a connector installed that was milled down a lot since they cannot own select fire. They can own a safe and full auto but NO select fire. The connector was ground down so it would go full auto in the semi mode as well. I received a connector and installed it and then trouble started. It worked perfect in semi but in full mode, one round would go off and the second round wouldnt, The second round always chambered but no detonation.I checked and the hammer followed each time like it should . There was no indication of a light strike, nothing.. Reinstalled the original one and its full auto all the time. And it works perfectly. I am clueless. One of the attributes of the reising is that it was accurate semi auto being a closed bolt weapon. Anyone have ideas? Thanks in advance Haris357 The lower connector is the one that was modified to work full auto and safe. Top one is the one that doesnt work in FA mode http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/ustKkH.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/qytlUt.jpg
  12. Hello All: I recently acquired a 1928 Savage that came with the rocker in a bag because it came from Connecticutt where they dont allow select fire, just full auto. That sure makes a lot of sense!! I never took apart a lower. Is it difficult? a you tube video link would be helpful. The seller called it a disconnector but it looks like the rocker in schematic. Thanks in advance http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/922/mVR1aU.jpg
  13. My M1a1 jams frequently. On FA the fired case does not get out and the new round cannot chamber. Seller claims it ran perfect for him and that i should use ONLY the stick mag that he sent with the gun. I tried at least 10 mags until i found one to work. Surely thats not a way to solve a problem. 1. Could it be the extractor? I have an extra bolt so I thought if it worked fine with a different bolt then its the extractor? 2. Could it be the ejector? 3. Lastly can it be the magazine? All suggestions will be most appreciated
  14. Guys here is one that confuses me. It has a AO prefix, its a 1928. And Its marked West Hurley. Can anyone tell me what this is and its vintage? Many Thanks. This number is not in the table of WH numbers that end in A http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/922/7V2pFw.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/ESOtE3.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/ESOtE3.jpg[/u http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/oMm1tB.jpg RL]

  16. Hello all: In trying to disassemble a WH 1928 the upper and lower got stock by the frame latch and spring. I got it back by holding it down as I got the upper and lower halves to come together.I didnt want to pull the upper off of the lower since it seemed to be sticking .If I hold the trigger down as I separate the two halves that, isnt it supposed to slide off effortlessly And i did have the trigger depressed so the sear is down as you separate. Thanks!
  17. Bob is right, probably was reimported back here as post 86. Still would make a cool shooter if the buyer has 07/c2 and can get a law letter(lol) phila ordnance receivers plus the kit install are running at 3k and they would need a letter.
  18. Fellas, Its only $3700 but its only available to Class 3 dealers who get a letter from a police dept asking for a demontstration. Thats how this things get transferred, Its called a post sample and can only be transferred to a police dept or another dealer with a demo letter. And if you wonder how did a WW2 gun get post 86 status, it was because it didnt get into the NFA registry before 1986. If it did, any of us could own it!!!. Its still a cool gun and I would love some opinions on its authenticity. It doesnt look like a kit gun, From a serial number of 313,000 that puts it at 1941 , I think. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/627398828 http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/921/3PNTNQ.jpg
  19. Fellow Forum Members.....I wanted a Military Looking Semi Thompson.......Kahr does not make a Lightweight M1 model so I bought a used 1927a1 model and had a 10.5 inch barrel installed. Aside from the cocking handle on top, I like its Classic Look and its Handy Because of its Lightweight Frame. All I have to do is locate a Front Sight . Shown next to a M1A1 From WW2 http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/922/leSPTB.jpg I think it will make a fun shooter!!http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/6h43Ko.jpg
  20. Thanks guys, I was shooting 230 ball factory. I disassembled upper- that was easy-squirted carb cleaner from spray can into lower and oiled and reassembled. need to try to shoot it again.I am kinda afraid to tackle lower disassembly. I will watch u tube video..Anyone recommend what parts to order to tune up this old girl.? It looks rough but its really smooth. Its seen lots of use http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/923/Q8UiTS.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/924/OqdQTy.jpg
