  1. On the contrary, I think you will find Israel used a lot of old Nazi weaponry in the First Arab Israeli War in 1948.
  2. The NRA's house is in disarray, and it's Lapierre's doing. I believe it will get no better until they can be rid of him.
  3. It seems the other negative feedbacks in the last 12 months were as a buyer, for not paying. FWIW.
  4. My, that is a big number. Where, on the shotgun, did you read that number?
  5. Here's what our FAQ page states about FedEx shipping: "FedEx: Updated 10 Dec 12 FedEx no longer has the restriction on firearms insurance as previously reported, the current level is $50,000. Questions about shipping via FedEx can be answered here under firearms - http://www.fedex.com...ound/index.html" RT updated the level of FedEx insurance to $50,000, which is what it was at the time of the above post about shipping (post from several years ago). If it's $25,000 now it was lowered from $50,000, so you'll want to double check the level of insurance in the regulations. Sandman may have checked it and if so maybe can advise. Robert, I was talking about the insurance provided my insurance carrier, Collectibles Insurance, not insurance bought from the shipper. People were reporting that insurance from the shipper was proving worthless.
  6. I have Collector's Insurance. The Limit of Insurance for a Fedex shipment is $25,000. Interestingly, the Limit of Insurance for a UPS shipment is $10,000. $25,000 won't cover the value of many NFA shipments these days, but it's better than nothing or headaches. Maybe it is possible to get a higher shipping Limit of Insurance. And to be fair, I have never filed a claim with Collector's either.
  7. Too bad they don't allow a deduction for losses on the sale of Collectibles, to offset gains.
  8. Small world, this hobby of ours. I bought an MP 40 from you back in 2009. It is a nice gun and I still have it. It was a very nice and smooth transaction as well.
  9. I own serial number 309380, also made by AOC. It too is marked M1 and has the early unprotected sight. Interestingly, Frank talks about these unusual M1s on page 268 of American Thunder II. Mine has a mismatched trigger frame as well, in fact, it is Savage made.
  10. And you would do that? Pass off your problem to someone else?
  11. Company appears to be located in Ohio. Their website mentions they "small shop", so I would guess the ammo is made in the USA.
  12. I have ordered some 7.65 French Long from Buffalo Arms, but it has a soft point (they call it a jacketed RNSP bullet.) works fine in a 1935A, but is unreliable in a MAS 38. Ive had some fail to feed because the soft tip hits the feed ramp and jams. I think I, too, may try some of the Steinel for my MAS 38. It is much cheaper than the Buffalo Arms as well.
  13. What grain load of 4227 do you use in your reloads?
  14. i have a Sten with an IRS number that is "IRS, 4 digits, letter suffix." I have not done a FOIA on it, but I should. It is C&R and lists "British Military" as the maker on the Form 4, for what all that is worth.
